I recently learned something very interesting about the definition of design. "Design is the creation of new, the innovation of old, or the modification of current systems to produce a product or service." Creation is the act of making something "that is original and stands up to the industry scrutiny. Innovation is the development of a new way of using current technology to do something new. Modification is a change to a current product or service to perform a similar function, or to do the same thing, only better."

In February 2011, I stumbled upon a post on a friend’s Facebook about a business opportunity that will be coming to Maryland (USA) later that month. As an enthusiast who is always open to new and innovative business ideas, I called my friend up to know what’s up. He told me about the energy deregulation market in Maryland and the possibility to profit from the $500 billion energy industry by saving money on my energy bill and also make money when I help people save money on their energy bills. I thought this will be very interesting and I was very curious about the business model. After 2-3 weeks of researching energy deregulation in Maryland, in the first week of March 2011, I decided to take on the Ignite opportunity.
I am working on a project to help young people define real success, but I realize that success, like a fingerprint, is unique to individuals and it means different things to different people.
In his book titled "Strategic Acceleration," Tony Jeary gave a simple definition for success. Tony said, "We are successful when we achieve objectives we have established in advance."
I am working on my debut book titled "Don't Die Sitting" and I hope to publish it this year. According to Tony's definition, I am successful when I get my book published this year. I am working hard towards success.
