So sad to hear that Steven Covey is dead at 79. Steven Covey is an author, professional speaker, professor, consultant, and Management Expert. His best known book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” has sold more than 25 million copies in 38 languages worldwide since its first publication in 1989.
In my first article , I mentioned that it is very important to prepare the ground if you want to reap the best in life. The ground represent your mind and you must do everything to guard your mind above all else because it determines the course of your life. After the ground is prepared, the next step (number 2) is to get some good seeds. The health of your seeds will determine the health of your harvest. Now that you've prepared the ground and gotten some good seeds, the next step (number 3) is to nurture and care for the plant.

I had a great time speaking to the Youth Group at the Life Source Church two Sundays ago. Although I was very tired: came back home 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning from attending John Maxwell’s “A Day about Books” event in West Palm Beach, Florida but it was worth getting up after few hours of sleep to be with these young people and help them on life issues, success, and the future. They came eager to learn. Our topic was “Seed, Time, and Harvest: How to Reap the Best in Life.” The message was so engaging; they desired a good harvest in life, and I love them so much because they were open, honest, and very practical.

It was a joy to hear my 5-year old Debby read a portion of my book during our Morning Prayer time. We read page 38 of Don’t Die Sitting where we learned to Hear Positive and Speak Positive. It takes great faith to sleep in a stormy situation and you can acquire that faith by constantly reading and hearing the word of God.
So many talented, educated, and gifted people are stuck in life because they are afraid to step out and show the world what they are made of. But to succeed in life, you've got to face your fear and take necessary actions.
After they've been condemned as social misfits and rendered homeless, they have to decide if they should go back to the city that expelled them, maintain their homeless status until they die, or face the future in spite of its unforeseen dangers. Their faith will challenge you. Their courage will fire you up. Their story will inspire you.
